Our Chapel
The Poland-Thompson Funeral Home welcomes each guest with its gracious, colonial-style architecture. The spacious, inviting interior can accommodate several hundred visitors at a time.
In 1983, the Poland-Thompson Chapel was added to the funeral home. Our chapel has the capacity for approximately 150 people. There is an additional family room that can hold up to 75 guests.
In 2001, a courtyard was added to the funeral home. This addition allows friends and families to gather before and after services, and also makes the funeral home more handicap-accessible.
The services that can be held in the chapel are: Prayer services, Rosary service, memorial service, civic organization services, and traditional funeral services.
We offer families a variety of dignified, uplifting music choices.
Our chapel is equipped with an organ that can be used for instrumental music only, or to accompany a vocalist. You may also choose from an appealing selection of our own audio tapes and CD’s, or you may bring in your own personalized music selections. Each guest’s personal experience is subtly enhanced with Poland-Thompson’s state-of-the-art surround sound system.
